How we handle corrections
Email us the page and the problem. We check it against the original source, fix confirmed errors promptly and record what changed and when.
- You report a possible error to hello@baby-bibs.com.
- We check the claim against the source we cited, or find a better one.
- If you are right, we correct the page, update its "last reviewed" date and add a line to the log below.
- If we disagree, we keep the page as it is and reply with our reasoning and source.
We don’t quietly rewrite claims. Changes that matter to safety or to what a source says are logged.
What counts as a correction
A correction fixes something wrong: a misquoted source, a wrong specification, a wrong age range, a broken claim. Routine updates, such as re-verifying listings, are logged separately.
- Correction: a factual error, a statement a source doesn’t support, or a mislabeled claim.
- Update: a re-check of listings, new products, or new sources.
- Removal: a product that no longer loads or matches its title, or one we learn is recalled.
Product recalls
If a product we list is recalled, we remove it and log the removal. You can also check CPSC's recall notices directly before buying.
We don’t monitor every recall in real time, so check CPSC's recalls page if you have a safety concern about a product. Tell us at hello@baby-bibs.com and we will check.
Log
The log lists dated changes made after the content was reviewed, newest first.
| Date | Type | Page | What changed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-19 | Correction | Silicone bibs, homepage, store | Care details corrected against the product pages: the PandaEar silicone bibs are dishwasher-safe per the maker, and machine washing is not stated (we had shown machine wash). Bumkins silicone bib: hand wash or dishwasher per the listing, can be boiled. Bella Tunno and Nuby silicone bibs: wipe clean (Bella Tunno also dishwasher) per the listing. One PandaEar 5-pack had an unsupported machine-wash entry, now “not stated”. |
| 2026-10-19 | Correction | All product pages | The “Machine washable” column is now “Washing and care” because it mixed machine washing with dishwasher and wipe-clean claims. |
| 2026-10-19 | Update | All product pages | 18 stated age ranges added from the listings. Where a listing gives no age or care, the page now says so. “Verified” was reworded to “checked” and defined: the page loaded and matched its title on the date shown. |
| 2026-10-17 to 2026-10-18 | Review | All pages | Content reviewed; 86 listings checked on amazon.com on 17 October 2026. |
